9 people died in Baluchistan due to heavy rains
Intense rain fall killed at least nine individuals such as kids in south west regions of Pakistan during last two days, catastrophe control authorities said on Saturday.
The fatalities happened during the last 48 hours in various areas of the oil and gas wealthy Baluchistan region near boarder lines of Iran and Afghanistan.
“Nine individuals including four kids and a woman passed away in the torrential rainfall,” director general of the province’s disaster management authority, Zahid Saleem confirmed media about the causalities.
He said four children with lady from same family passed away on Friday after a ceiling caved in due to heavy down pours in Sheerani region.
“In other occurrences, three individuals passed away in two regions of Mastung and Loralai during the last two days”.
Saleem included one person also passed away after being hit by super in Dalbandin region.
The local meteorological office said more rainfall was estimated across the region over the end of the week.
