Donald Trump cancels his presence at Chicago rally due to violent clashes
Donald Trump has repealed a rally in Chicago, after demonstrations against the Republican presidential front-runner led to aggressive situations.
Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at the location at the University of Illinois at Chicago, few hours before, Trump was due to address there.
Inside the audience, fighting started between official security authorities and demonstrators, who waved banners and chanted slogans against Donlad Trump
A declaration from Trump’s strategy said the applicant decided to delay the event after meeting with local police or after vacuuming of hall from protestors.
But a Chicago, Police Division spokesperson said the force was not discussed in the decision to delay the rally.
At the rally there were chants for Trump from his followers and for Democratic applicant Bernie Sanders from some of the demonstrators.
