Pakistan play Bangladesh today for ICC t20 world cup 2016
Pakistan is going to tie horns with Bangladesh for ICC T20 world cup 2016 at Eden Gardens Calcutta today, (Wednesday). The match will start at 2:30 pm according to Pakistan standard time.
Bangladesh is playing its first match for group 2 fixture after defeating Holland Oman in qualifying rounds while 3rd match of Bangladesh with Ireland was detained due to rains.
Before arriving to Indian for T20 world cup 2016, Bangladesh also had an amazing run in the Asia Cup 2016 organized in their home ground. Despite their latest developments in 50-over cricket, Bangladesh has a spoiled history in the world T20 and has never defeated Pakistan in the leading competition of cricket’s quickest structure.
But Shahid Afridi said Pakistan had an excellent history at Eden Gardens, along with an effective success over Indian in an ODI in Jan 2013.
“We have excellent remembrances over here and we are basically assured,” Pakistan team captain Shahid Afridi told media.
Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis recommended to stay careful in the experience of a powerful Bangladesh task but was also fast to add that, Pakistan may perform to their strong points.
“When you’re enjoying excellent cricket, circumstances do not matter much. I think Bangladesh are enjoying fantastic cricket, so we have to be careful and have to give effective performance to defeat them,” head coach Younis instructed.
